Trip to the Museum

We went to look at all the bugs in the animal attic in the Otago Museum. Our teacher Kate told us about the different habitats bugs live in. Thank you to the parents who helped on our trip! Jessica and Olivia are looking for the BIGGEST bug (it was the Goliath Beetle).

Our Class Caterpillar

As part of our Inquiry this term we are looking at 'Minibeasts'. We have our own class caterpillar (named Monty). The children have enjoyed watching the life cycle of our caterpillar as it grows and changes in front of our eyes! We have found another baby caterpillar growing too!
