First Day of School

When Room 1 students start in 2018 they will have a special photo taken that will be used when they leave in year 6. Look at all the amazing students who started with Room 1 this year.

Welcome Back Room 1!

Well in just a few days I will be welcoming 7 wonderful little people into Room 1! 

I hope everyone has had a great holiday and is ready to get back into school and what 2018 has in store for us.

A few reminders:

• Make sure you bring your school sun hat to school on the first day back, the sun has been very hot over the summer and I think it is here to stay for a while longer so we want to be as sun smart as possible. You can see Mrs Key in the Office if you need a new one.
• Put on some sunblock before you come to school. 
• Have you ordered your stationery? If not go to OfficeMax in town or order online at https://www.myschool.co.nz/. Make sure all of your children's books and uniform items are clearly named.

I am super excited to get back to school and hear all of the stories about the summer adventures!  Enjoy your last week of holidays and I will see you all on Monday the 29th of January.

Amazing Writers

Room 1 have personal goals for writing which they are all aware of, when we achieve these it is a great celebration and sometimes we get to go and see Mrs Stanley for a treat!!
