What an exciting time for the Joby family becoming NZ Citizens alongside Joseph who was already a NZ citizen.

Wheels Day Madness!!!

What a fabulous day we had on Friday to finish off wheels week, the students throughly enjoyed scootering or biking around Mrs Stanleys track and a highlight was the teachers on the lime scooters.....so they tell me.

Well done to Aine and J.T. whose names were pulled out of the hat and won awesome prizes!

Dancing with Body Parts!

To continue our dancing unit we explored how we can use our body parts to dance and what body parts can be joined together by ourselves, in pairs and in a group situation.

Shrove Tuesday

The excited was building in Room 1 on Shrove Tuesday as the students knew it was Pancake Day. What a fabulous way to start our journey learning about the Lenten season and prepare us for Ash Wednesday. We looked at why people celebrate Shrove Tuesday and what people around the world do to celebrate it.
We also got to watch the Palms from Palm Sunday being burnt for Ash Wednesday in a beautiful liturgy.

Here we are making pikelets, Room 1's looked the best in the school!!!!
