Welcome Rositta

It was great to welcome Rositta to our classroom this week, she has settled in so well and her brother is loving having her next door.

Week 5 Certificates

Fish and Chip/Games Night

We love our PTFA at St Joes, they put on such fun events. Most recently the Fish n Chip and Games night was a hit. Great to see kids and families bonding.

Term 2 Class Mass

Wow I did not stop smiling the entire Class Mass. This was the first Mass in 3 years that Room 1 had been to alone and wow did they blow me away. Their behaviour reading and singing was amazing.

Yellow Brick Road

Yellow Brick Road is just around the corner and we are starting to look fantastic in our class dance! Go Room 1 Munchkins!!!!!

What a fabulous time we had watching Kavanagh perform Annie, it was great to see past St Joes students shining on stage.

Sign Language Week

St Joseph's Cathedral School is lucky enough to have an in house Sign Language expect - Jo Clough! Jo came in and taught us how to say hello, thank you, alphabet and a range of colours. We also found out we have our own in class expert in J.T. who has amazing knowledge of Sign Language which he uses at home with his brother.

Kapa Haka

KapaHaka has started for the term and what a fantastic time we had!! We got to play some games and learn new Waiata with our new tutors!

Happy Birthday Eliana!

Wow a 6 year old, our first 6 year old this year wahoo!! Happy Birthday Eliana and thank you Idah for the amazing cup cakes!!!!

Welcome Robin

How exciting to have Robin start in Room 1. Robin is brother to Ellena and Susi and cousin to J.T. and Amanda so I know he will be well looked after at school.

A massive congratulations to Koa for being voted in as the Term 2 student council rep for our classroom. Thank you Sammy for being wonderful in Term 1 and I know Koa will be amazing this term too.
