Bumper Writing Lesson

These two boys were treated to a bonus writing lesson this week and were focussing on finding words on their word cards to use in the sentence as well as leaving finger spaces. Great Job boys!

You will notice we had some fun whilst writing too.......got to keep learning alive!!!!

New Uniform you say!?!?!? Robin decided during action stations that we needed a new uniform and this is what he came up with. Stylish I think!!!

Kiwisport - Session 2

Today the students learnt some cricket skills which fit in well with the tennis skills we have been learning as a class. They had some great hits today!

Term 3 P.E. - Tennis Skills

P.E. has never been so much fun or cute! We are beginning to learn some Tennis skills in Piwakawaka and every spare moment we get they want to go out and practice!

Term 3 Inquiry - SVA

This term and next term we are starting a Student Volunteer Army as a whole school. This concept was introduced to Piwakawaka last week and once we got past that we are not a fighting Army I have a very excited class who are super keen to help our community.

Holy Places

This term we are focussing on Sacraments and we have been looking at what makes something Holy. We went on a hunt to find some holy places in the school. Can you guess why we think they are Holy?
