It has been weeks and weeks since we last had a Kapa Haka session and what a great one it was today! I was so pleased to see how involved the new students were, check out Basil and Robin rocking the moves!

Calendar Art Orders
It is that time of the year where you can order your child's calendar art into different products. The samples of the students work are on display in the library but here they are to be seen as well. Keep an eye out for order forms coming home.

What a week it has been for Joe, all students in Piwakawaka had to complete a piece of art for Mrs Stanley and she chose her favourite one to go in her office for the rest of the year. Well done Joe!
Joe CARE Award
Joe has come out of his shell so much this term and it was great to award him with his Bronze CARE Award. Keep up the amazing work!
Pet Day!
Wow what an amazing day we had on Friday for Pet Day! We made fruit animals, participated in the pet parade, met some new animals, had a colouring competition and all walked away with a wee prize! Check out the toys that came to pet day!

- Attended Polyfest on Tuesday - what an amazing event!
- Had Hoani in to do more Te Reo Maori with us (see photos)
- Lunchtime crosswords with Ruma Toroa
All that and it is only Wednesday!!!

Miron the Violinist
