Good secrets and bad secrets.
Constable Ross came to our class and talked to us about good secrets and bad secrets. A good secret is something that makes a person feel good (like a surprise party) a bad secret is something that makes us feel scared or sad. We talked about how we can keep ourselves safe if we are told a bad secret.
Where can I pray?
We found a special cross at our school where we can pray. We wrote stories about our favorite place to pray.

Places we can pray at St Joes..
We went on a hunt around our school to find special places we can pray. We looked at the prayer tables in different classrooms and we found special crosses around our school.

Exploring Room 5's Science Fair Projects...
Today Room 1 got to have a look at the Room 5 Science Fair projects. They enjoyed asking questions about their insect science project. Elliot even had beetles and grubs for Room 1 to look at.

BUG DAY OUT!
We had such a fun day on Bug Day! We went to Arthur Street Park and had a play, we had a picnic lunch at school and we did lots of activities with the teachers at school. Big thank you to the parents who put lots of effort into the costumes - the children looked fantastic!
