At the Art Gallery we learnt how to create koru patterns. We colored them in bright colors then dyed them yellow. They were then all arranged on a panel.

Captains on a yacht!

For writing we pretended that we were captains on our own super yachts! Our learners came up with some very creative ideas about what was on their yacht's! Pop into class and have a look at their published work.

Yum or Yuck?

We did some taste testing for writing to decide if something was yum or yuck (the letter of the week is Y). We had some interesting reactions  - especially from the bitter chocolate!
