Welcome Fergus and Hanna

What a great pleasure Room 1 has had welcoming two new students this week. On Monday we welcomed Hanna and her family to St Joes and on Thursday we welcomes Fergus, Flo (Room 4) brother.

It is great for our class to grow and we are now up to 9 keen learners!

House Challenge Day

On Monday as part of St Joseph's Day we had our first house challenge of the year in a round robin of fun activities in our houses. Ngaio (Green - go green!!!!!!) house won on the day! These photos also show how amazing our senior students are with Room 1, so much CARE shown.

Fundamental Skills

Lunchtime Dress Ups

Room 1's favourite lunchtime is wet lunchtimes as we have the big Room 6 students come and look after us, what is even better is that they let us dress them in the dress ups! Thanks Jessica for being such a good sport with the Room 1 kids.

Red Robin Riding Hood

Play House visit St Joe's every year and this year we had an Australian crew perform Red Robin Riding Hood and it was outstanding! Room 1 thought it was just hilarious.

Small class you say.........

Room 1 had an amazing day on Friday with the majority of the class away......we had a total of 3 students!!!! The students were perfectly behaved and enthusiastic the entire day I just had to reward them all at line up. Well done Poppy, Mckenzy and Leno!

We also had some flash new vests arrive from the PFTA so we had to put them on and model them. No more vests to our feet as we walk to church!!

Jump Jam

What a treat to have the creator, Brett, of Jump Jam attend St Joe's for a session with both the Junior and Senior Syndicate!!

Kapa Haka Session 1

Room 1 and 2 had their first session of Kapa Haka yesterday and what a fabulous session it was. The students who were new to Kapa Haka fitted in perfectly.
