Coconuts

Room 1 and 2 joint together today as we had a special guest visiting both classes. Janice came in to teach the children about some Samoan myths as well as demonstrating how coconut milk, water and oil is made. Most students had a taste of coconut water and all students had a go at scraping the coconut. Such a fantastic experience.

Room 1 and 2 thought it would be cool to have a class trip to the islands......not sure they know money does not grow on trees at St Josephs!!!!!
