We had a wonderful day at the Marae. The children participated in traditional games, wrote their own Maori greeting (pepeha) and sang traditional songs. This was a great way for us to start our Maori Language and Culture topic.
And what an amazing day it was! It was such an honour to join St Joe's on their visit to Araiteuru Marae. It was a very real reminder for me, just how lucky we are to live in such a wonderful country with such a unique and special culture and identity. Wonderful day!
